Everyone here at Orbit is as friendly as can be. My roommate recommended my partner and I come here when searching for a new place to get our hair cut. Nice chill atmosphere and is LGBTQIA+ friendly. Highly recommend coming here!

I returned here after 3 or 4 years away and it is just as lovely as before. Kaitlin is wonderful, both friendly and extremely talented. She worked masterfully with some hair issues I came in with, and I am delighted with the result! She had done fantastic balayage and highlights for me in the past, and this visit she also helped me camouflage some grey I have started getting since the last time I saw her. Highly recommend the salon and her.

Orbit Salon has been a favorite since it opened. Clay is experienced, creative, personable, and such a talented hair artist! The overall vibe is calming and cool, with local artists’ featured work. I highly recommend Orbit!

came in with an idea and came out looking glamorous! i love my hair, joseph did an amazing job and i had a great conversation with him. the inside is like no other, very homey and beautifully decorated. easily the best salon in birmingham. i’ll be visiting again (:

I had a really great experience at the salon today! It's a beautiful salon. I walked in with no appointment and they got me in no problem! Staff were nice and professional. The person who cut my hair (I believe his name was Trent) made me feel comfortable and welcome and he did a great job! I plan on going back again! Thank you guys for being awesome!

Mackey made me feel brand new with my blonde balayage!! I loved the vibe of the salon, how sweet everyone was, and how they promote inclusiveness which is something I had never really seen promoted in an salon I have used! I will definitely be recommending him as well as orbit to all my friends who need a new hairstylist or salon to call home!

I’ve come here regularly for 3 years and it’s such a wonderful place! Staff is very kind, and my stylist Trent always makes sure I’m getting a haircut I want and like, and checks with me every step of the way. It’s also a super cute place, and I highly recommend them!
